The work is presented here as part of a living system rather than as an isolated product: its meaning comes from the people, practices, and neighboring works that make it useful.

A repeatable opening grammar emerged for salons, courses, games, and gatherings, giving Castalia a recognizable threshold between ordinary time and inquiry.
